The Chinese Acupressure Facelift *** (2002) 37 min. $19.95. Rainbow
Rising Productions (dist. by Tapeworm Video). PPR. Color cover.
Long
used to treat a host of illnesses, acupuncture is a traditional
Asian healing technique in which extremely fine needles are inserted
into points on the body to unblock obstructions and re-establish
the flow of energy along the meridians--energy channels--of the
body. For those nervous about needles, however--and I include
myself in that group--acupressure, in which finger pressure and
massage are used to stimulate the meridians, offers a good alternative
(and you don't end up looking like that dude in Hellraiser). In
The Chinese Acupressure Facelift, Drs. Ming Ming and David Molony
focus solely on acupressure exercises for the face, claiming that
with regular practice acupressure can remove years from a person's
face without the need for expensive moisturizers, plastic surgery,
or botox injections. The routine is simple enough to learn, with
each of the techniques clearly and effectively demonstrated, and
after a single session my own skin tingled and my face felt refreshed
(even if I'm still not being carded at restaurant lounges). A
solid introduction to an ancient art, this is recommended. Aud:

I
have been doing a trial on a new product on the net Chinese Acupressure
Facelift. I totally love it.
In
just a few minutes a day you can really make your face come alive.
Guys this means you too. I still have not lost the double chin
but I think I am going to have to lose a few pounds for that.
If
you are begining to see sagging in the facial muscles, I recommend
you start on this now. If you are beginning to see that dry crepe
look that skin gets as it ages, you will be delighted with the
results from this tape.
I
must say I used the Master's Miracle moisturizing lotion in my
routine. The routine is easy to learn.
I
will continue to use it several times a week. I use it at work
when I feel stressed but I prefer to do the exercises with a clean
face.
The
pressure points I use at work are around the eyes. For those of
you who spend way too many hours at the computer like I do, it
is a great relaxer for the eyes.
These
are great people and quick to answer any questions you may have.
Now
if someone could just come up with a system to make hands look
young again.

Testimonials
Just
finished viewing the Chinese Acupressure tape, and going through
the routine. Fabulous! I have had a couple of facials in my life
which somewhat mimicked a couple of the motions, but wow, the
results from a facial is nothing like I'm experiencing at the
moment...my face has been tingling for 20 minutes, and after only
one session! I know there will be terrific results if my face
feels this energized after only one session.
The
tape is now going to be a part of my daily health regimen, with
the tape being set up to play every morning. While I don't relish
doing some of the exercises which are a part of my daily routine,
relaxing with this acupressure facelift tape will be something
I will definitely be looking forward to each morning!
Overall,
the tape was just a pleasure to view...very well executed, easy
to follow, and the part I appreciated most was the explanations
of what the points were called, and their specific benefit.
I
also appreciated the straight-forwardness, yet personable, upbeat,
yet soothing nature of the tape.
Thank
you so much for producing such a wonderful tape!
Kindest
regards,
Karen T., Arizona
